From June 14 to 17, VivaTech 2023, the most important technological meeting in Europe, was held in Paris, and EVoting was present.
With more than 150,000 attendees from 174 countries, Vivatech 2023 was held in the French capital. In its seventh edition, the event brought together 11,400 startups and over 2,800 exhibitors.
In this framework, the companies EVoting and Photio were present as winners of the Tropheé Startup, an initiative organized by the French Embassy in Chile, Business France and Inria Chile.
“We are very happy, because France is a very attractive market for EVoting due to its maturity in the regulation and adoption of electronic voting, with a high valuation of privacy, which allows us to offer a differentiating product”, said Tomás Barros, Founding Partner and General Manager of EVoting.
At the event, EVoting, represented by Barros, had the opportunity to interact with great exponents of technological innovation worldwide and to be present at Inria’s stand.
In addition to the Chilean startups, the event was attended by prominent political, business and technological personalities. Emmanuel Macron, President of France; Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX; Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce; among others.
Robotics, ‘climatetech’ and artificial intelligence were among the topics most discussed during the three-day event. Regarding the latter, the billionaire founder of Tesla called to be “careful”, since the consequences of mismanagement could be catastrophic.
Finally, the event broke records in attendance, exhibitions and speakers, turning Pavilion 1 of the Expo Porte de Versailles into the epicenter of technology, not only in Europe, but worldwide.
