From November 13 to 17, a selected group of Latin American startups will participate in the Spain LATAM Scale Up program, which seeks to facilitate their immersion in the Spanish market.
In order to facilitate the establishment of innovative startups from Latin America and the Caribbean in Spain, the second edition of the Spain LATAM Scale Up program will be held from November 13 to 17.
The initiative of BID LAB, ICEX-Invest in Spain and Endeavor will host 17 startups from Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Chile and Costa Rica, including EVoting.
The companies will have the opportunity to interact with more than 40 key players in the Spanish entrepreneurship ecosystem, including venture capital funds, corporations, institutions, law firms and more.
Representing the leading company in electronic democracy will be two of its founding partners: Tomás Barros, General Manager, and Mario Novoa, Executive Director.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase our service and create ties with important players in Spain. We will try to make the most of this opportunity,” said Novoa prior to the trip.
This activity complements the recent first process carried out by EVoting in Spain, when an assembly was held for the Spanish Federation of Associations of Amigos del Camino of Santiago (FEACCS), which its president valued positively and urged other organizations to trust in innovation.
“The message I would give to other institutions that need to use this type of tool is to lose their fear and have full confidence that it works,” said Jorge Martínez, president of FEAACS, after the successful process.
Returning to the Spain LATAM Scale Up, which will take place during the third week of November, it also seeks to be a port of entry to the European market for the 17 companies involved.
