JANUARY 2023: EVOTING DRESSES UP AND CITIZEN PARTICIPATION TAKES THE LEAD ROLE

The seventh year together with the Caleuche Awards, a successful process of citizen participation and praise from customers, mark January for the company EVoting.

The first month of the year was marked by the Caleuche Awards, where EVoting was present for the seventh time, and by the election of the first Regional Council of the Civil Society of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica. In addition, an excellent process was carried out in the Public Employees Savings Bank.

From January 5 to 29, the EVoting platform was open to vote for the Caleuche Awards Audience Award. Finally, the winner in this category was Gastón Salgado, who prevailed in a vote that, with nearly 22,000 votes, doubled the participation of the previous year. “It is the most beautiful thing to receive an Audience Award, it means that one’s work has reached the people, which is fundamental,” said Salgado.

Regional Government of Magallanes and the Chilean Antarctica chose its first CORESOC with the EVoting platform

With more than 300 votes received, the region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica participated in the election of its first Regional Council of Civil Society. “Our evaluation of the process is very positive, due to the fact that the level of participation was very high, about 53% of the organizations were encouraged to vote, and this makes it a quite historic result”, highlighted Jorge Flies, Governor of the region.

After seven processes carried out with EVoting’s EHolders platform, the Director of the Public Employees Savings Bank, Hernán González Mañes, positively highlighted the experience with the company in these almost three years of working together. “The main advantage is to facilitate the participation of the associates”, highlighted Gonzalez, after a new Extraordinary Meeting.
