RETURN TO ON-SITE CLASSES? THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA REINA WILL DECIDE THIS WITH ITS NEIGHBORS

The consultation is one of many processes developed through the lareinaparticipa.cl electronic participation platform.

“Participation is part of the essence of La Reina and one of the key axes of the Municipality”. With these words, Mayor José Manuel Palacios kicked off the consultation “Back to On-Site School 2021”, in which neighbors and parents were called to give their opinion on the return of children and young people to the classroom. The consultation ends on Friday, July 30 and its results will be binding.

The Mayor stated that, as a local government, they are “very interested in everyone’s opinion in order to make important administrative decisions that have been long debated in the public arena”.

This consultation on the return to face-to-face classes is the sixth online citizen participation process promoted by Mayor Palacios through the www.lareinaparticipa.cl platform. For Felipe Lorca, EVoting Voting Manager, La Reina is one of the municipalities that has successfully incorporated a modern communal management, “where the neighbors’ opinions are consulted for important decisions through this electronic platform”.
