IN JUNE, EVOTING SURPASSED THIS SYMBOLIC FIGURE. ALSO, FOR THE 4TH CONSECUTIVE MONTH, THERE WERE MORE THAN 60 ELECTRONIC VOTES.
Another month with record number of votes for EVoting. In June, for the fourth consecutive month, there were 60 or more electronic votes. Indeed, in March, April, May and June of this year, there were 63, 60, 61 and 60 votes respectively. By way of comparison, the same months in 2020 the company had 12, 17, 22 and 32 electronic voting processes.
“When we first had this level of requirement, we thought it was something exceptional, but we are realizing that it is more of a trend,” said Felipe Lorca, EVoting’s Voting Manager.
June’s figures were also particularly significant because EVoting exceeded 1,500 electronic elections. For Lorca, these statistics reflect the expansion stage the company is in. “At the moment we are growing very rapidly, which forces us to adjust procedures, protocols and various aspects of our work, in order to provide the same quality of service with a much higher demand”.
In this regard, he highlights the separation of the former Operations Management into two distinct managements: Voting and Meetings and Assemblies. “The growing demand and the challenges that come along with it, oblige us not only to quantitatively increase our response capacity, but also to specialize our services and offer qualitatively more sophisticated platforms,” Lorca concluded.
