ELECTRONIC VOTING IN THE WORLD: MORE THAN 150 THOUSAND ESTONIANS VOTED ONLINE IN THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT ELECTION
Since 2005, Estonia has had electronic voting for its elections and 2009 was the first time this technology was used in the election of the European Parliament. In these last elections, 153,269 people voted online, representing 41% of the electorate.
