Since its inception, EVoting has sought ways to bring technology closer to its customers. In this sense, this campaign was born to celebrate those who share the spirit of innovation.
EVoting: Leaders in Electronic Democracy
At the end of 2013, a team of computer science engineers founded EVoting, as a spin-off of the Inria Chile Foundation, a French entity globally recognized for its work in communication sciences.
Almost 10 years after its birth, EVoting has enabled the secure and reliable development of more than 3,000 processes in organizations of the most varied sectors. All this led to the company winning the Tech4Democracy award in March 2023.
The competition, organized by IE University and promoted by the U.S. Department of State and Microsoft, rewards startups that strengthen democracy around the world.
At the awards ceremony, Ginny Badanes, General Manager of Microsoft’s Democracy Forwards initiative, highlighted the existence of companies like the Chilean one.
“We, as a technology company, have some principles when it comes to this space. So we are doing our part to contribute to it (….) To a large extent, we are being inspired by people like you, who are looking foundationally at the role of business, particularly technology in shaping and improving democracy,” stated Badanes, after presenting the award.
The Tech4Democracy award is just one example that innovation is a fundamental pillar for EVoting and its clients. The Leaders who Innovate campaign seeks to honor those who dare to propose a technological solution to an organization’s challenges.
Leaders who Innovate
Among the more than one thousand clients that have chosen EVoting to carry out their different processes, there is a common trait: technological innovation. Entities from different sectors and industries have placed their trust in the company’s platforms.
With the purpose of highlighting this characteristic, Leaders who Innovate was created to show the stories of several organizations that dared to implement EVoting’s technology to their services, for a better performance.
The first epic story that can be seen in this succession of videos is starred by Andrés Atala, Head-Investor Relations of Banco de Créditos e Inversiones SA (Chile).
Atala narrates how he went from carrying out activities that historically were carried out 100% in person, to being able to execute them remotely, and even with hybrid modalities. In this sense, he highlights the work done with EVoting in recent years.
As well as this, there are many people who have contributed to their organizations by implementing technology in a secure and transparent way in decision making. Do not miss Leaders who Innovate and learn more about these stories.
